ABOUT THE JESSE TREE ADVENT DEVOTIONAL…
This daily guide will take you through Sunday Advent readings AND the Jesse Tree. It traces the ancestry of Jesus through the Old and New Testaments while celebrating the women and men who, like John the Baptist, prepared the way for the coming of Christ.

We’ve designed it to be:

🕯️ A merging of the Jesse Tree tradition and the Four Advent Sundays (each week you light a candle, it represents 1,000 years that Christ’s coming was foretold)

🕯️ Open and go: you’ll find a daily Bible reading, suggested song with links to lyrics, and a quick prayer

🕯️ Simple–it’s the basics for pausing each day and resetting the family (there’s no crafts to prepare, cookies to make, or extra books to hunt down–all these are lovely things, but we don’t always have time for that!)

🕯️ Read via candlelight of the Advent wreath–your kids will love gathering each evening for this quiet time filled with Bible stories and songs! Preparation tips are included in the booklet.

ABOUT THE BIBLE ORNAMENTS SET…
You’ll receive 29 wooden ornaments featuring corresponding Bible artwork to our Jesse Tree Advent Devotional. We pray you look at it as an investment in a rich family tradition, usable year after year then passed on as an heirloom piece.

The artwork features reproductions of watercolor scenes hand-painted by the Erb family (momma, daddy and grandpa to be exact!). Each wooden ornament measures 3.5″ wide with red ribbon. Please note–the number of days in Advent changes year-to-year with a maximum of 29.  Therefore, you will not use all the ornaments each year. New plans are published annually that feature the proper dates with assigned readings.
